Preventing Cancer Through a Plant-Based Diet
The Cancer Wellness Center is a non-profit resource for cancer survivors, patients, and their families. It's located in Northbrook, IL, about 30 minutes north of Chicago.
A few months ago Lori Bumbaco, a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist at CWC reached out to me. She promotes a plant-based diet as a way to prevent the onset and growth of cancer. While many of her patients have been open to her plant-loving tips, she noticed a need for easy, simple recipes.
