This is a total childhood throw-back to the good 'ole days of canned fruit.  I have special memories of this "special" dish finding a spot on the Thanksgiving table.  Use a variety of the season's best fruits, from white peaches to golden cherries, to make your own stamp on this classic.

2 each Pears, cored and diced
3 each peaches, white or yellow, pitted and diced
2 cups green grapes, halved
2 cups cherries, pitted
1 tbsp lemon juice

Servings: 6
Yield: 6 cups
